Beautiful Feet’s Neighborhood

So here I am with my 18 week belly next to my sister and her 28 week belly.  Some people have remarked at how similar we look while others have struggled to see the resemblance.  (I think it was easier to see in my brunette days).  But I tend to take after my dad with his fair skin and lanky figure, while I think Heather is more like my mom. 

Dan and I have had a lot of talks about the baby and what she may look like. We both have somewhat textured hair that is prone to curls and waves and we were also both born with very blonde hair that has faded to a dirty blonde/ light brown.  We both have pretty fair skin.  Dan has brown eyes while I have blue eyes.  All of these things are fun for us to consider and speculate about. But since we found out we're having a girl Dan is very concerned about her shoulders (--so am I for that matter, but only for the delivery).  Dan has a football player's frame with broad shoulders and a broad torso and he's concerned that our little girl may take after him. I tell him he's silly to worry about that now, but I can tell it still concerns him.  Either way I'm sure we will both find her absolutely beautiful. But until she's born we'll just have to speculate and I'll try to do my best to calm Dan's fears.
