Beautiful Feet

This is a journal begun when we learned I was pregnant with our first. Now we are a party of three and life has taken on a completely different palate of colors. It's a learning process and as we negotiate this parenting thing, it's a comfort to write about it here, thinking out loud and remembering in a more tangible way each day's lessons for the future. I'm not a writer, I only wish my words would flow so eloquently. But I enjoy the challenge of presenting myself in a succinct and interesting way. So in addition to an exercise in memory, these pages are also a challenge to me to improve some few writing skills. In all my words, I hope you see reflections of my Christian faith - it is this to which we cling and look for wisdom as we live life with a toddler, and as husband and wife. In the book of Isaiah we are told that God gently leads those with young, and I constantly revisit this promise with relief and thanksgiving.

It's amazing to watch a baby grow into a child and learn and develop. Thanks for joining me and experiencing some of this with us.
